Mukesh Ambani: India billionaire businessman introduces $25bn 5G initial deployment schedule

Indian multi-billionaire Mukesh Ambani has revealed a $25bn (£21.3bn) plan to release 5G mobile data service delivery in the state within 2 years. 

Mr Ambani, who director general the telecoms-to-retail team Reliance Industries, has said the high-speed network will just be invented first in metropolitan areas, including New Delhi and Mumbai. 

He said it would then be increased to the rest of India by December 2023.
